Mad Possum Forge
Columbia Maryland
The personal shop of Graham Martin (he/him) "The shop is my backyard! I really want it to feel homie and more like a place someone would have by their own home so they can feel comfortable and hopefully more willing to ask questions and for help with their specific needs. I'm not a huge forge, but keeping class sizes smaller is important to me because I'd like for my main demographic to be people with specific needs and children with disabilities, where a cozier space and greater control over the environment for them is crucial. Hablo Español!"
Gideon Greenwood (he/him)
St. Louis, Missouri, USA
I maintain the forge and teach classes at Arch Reactor Hackerspace in St. Louis, MO, US. I like to make various tools, especially hammers. I'm always ready to offer an informal class for the price of lunch or a beer, as I believe access to the skilled trades and small proprietor business skills changes lives.
I am available by request to help you set up your own shop to get blacksmithing within your budget and capability, and to connect you to local resources for the amazing blacksmithing community.
